How to Speak Like a Pro

Working in groups of three, research the websites that have been provided and collect the information that you need for your manual.  The content of your manual should include the following:

  1. Title
  2. Thesis statement explaining the purpose of your research
  3. A paragraph explaining why it is important to develop effective speaking skills, when you may need this skills, and what good speakers have in common.  Identify some well known public speakers.
  4. Explanations of what a people can do to train themselves to become  effective public speakers.
  5. Suggestions for writing an effective speeches that engage audiences.
  6. Strategies for developing a dynamic delivery.
  7. Graphics to help explain the content in your manual (at least one graphic on each page).
