Trip to the Amusement Park

1.       After viewing the Tips for Family Fun page and the Rides page, write a paragraph about what you are planning to do on your adventure through Six Flags. Type your paragraph using a word processor.

2.       Print the map of the park and mark each point of interest that you plan on seeing.

Be sure to visit at least one attraction from each section of the park (Georgia, U.S.A., Gotham City, British, Cotton State Exposition, Spanish/Bugs Bunny World, French, Peachtree Square, and Lickskillet).

 

3.       The park hours are 10:00 am � 9:00 pm. After you have decided what you would like to do, complete the Six Flags schedule. You will need to take time to eat at least once. Also, don�t forget to take into account the average wait time (20 minutes). *Use the Six Flags Schedule resource at the bottom of this page.*

 

4.       Survey your classmates by asking the following questions:

1.       Where did you spend the most time?

2.       What is your favorite roller coaster/attraction at Six Flags?

Use a tally chart to display the data you received from each question.

 

5.       Make a bar graph the displays the information about where your classmates spent most of their time. Use the website below to make your bar graph.

6.       Make a pictograph the displays the information about your classmates� favorite roller coaster/attraction. Use the website below to make your pictograph.

7.       Make a poster board that includes the following:

1.       Paragraph about the day you planned

2.       Map with points of interest marked

3.       Six Flags schedule

4.       Tally charts for each survey

5.       Bar graph
