A Chocolate Challenge!

In order to complete this Webquest you will have to research the history of chocolate and answer the following questions:

1. Where does chocolate come from? 
2. What does the cacao (chocolate) tree look like?
3. When was chocolate first discovered?
4. Who first used it?
5. How was chocolate first used?
6. What is the process that chocolate goes through once it leaves the tree in order to make it into a chocolate bar?

You must use at least 3 of the following website resources to answer the questions.

Once you know the history of chocolate, you will then need to visit the Cadbury's Chocolate Factory listed in the resouces below and answer the following questions:

1. How did the Cadbury's get started?
2. What are the ingredients used in making chocolate?
3. How are chocolate bars made?
4. What is the process that a chocolate bar goes through in the factory?

After answering these questions, you are now ready to create your own, new Chocolate bar.  You will need to write a recipe for your chocolate bar and you will need to create a wrapper for it. 

You will draw a picture of the chocolate  bar, and display the wrapper on it.  After completing all of this, you will present your new chocolate bar to the attorney (your teacher) and the witnesses (your classmates).  They will decide whether or not you will recieve the million pounds left to you by your uncle.
