The 6 Kingdoms of Life--Biology Class Webquest!

Populations of organisms must be able to adapt to changing ecosystems to survive.  As environmental conditions throughout the world have changed over time, an amazing variety of organisms have evolved to survive in nearly every environment found on earth.  Due to this intense diversity, it was necessary to organize these living things into groups.  Biologists have organized all life-forms into six major groups called kingdoms.  The purpose of this investigation is to familiarize yourselves with each of the six kingdoms, their characteristics and the organisms contained in each.  Prior to investigating each of the kingdoms, you must understand the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells
