After extensive planning and marketing, the City of Detroit has been chosen as the site for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Midwest Construction has won the contract to build the Olympic Village Hotel and Conference Center, which will contain 650 lodging rooms and a 28,000 sq.ft. conference center.

The project is estimated to employ over 1,500 - 2,000 workers. YOU want to be one of those chosen for a job. However, you're not sure what jobs are available, what skills are needed for those jobs, and most importantly, how much per hour each of the jobs will pay.

The purpose of this webquest is to provide you with the resources and information needed to determine which job best fits YOUR interests. You will also be refining your technology skills while researching specific occupations on the Internet.

You can work independently on this project or with a team.
