Where's Big Ben?: a trip around historical architecture of London
Introduction
Hello, dear reader, traveller and future travel agency owner!
Our company hands out those free,
explanatory leaflets to introduce you with your future tasks! You are about to
create your own travel agency, in order to attract new customers and provide
them with the special offers and package tours to London.
London, the capital of England and the
United Kingdom, is Britains largest and most populous metropolitan area. Its
history goes back to the era of the domination of Ancient Rome, whose citizens,
the Romans, founded the core of todays well-known British metropolis. The main
part of the city, the City of London, became the financial district in the
medieval times. In the 19th century its territory was still growing.
Londons buildings and monuments are too diverse to be characterised by any
particular architectural style. This is one of many reasons why millions of
travellers are visiting this particular area in the United Kingdom.
Your main aim is to attract more people
to drop in to this sophisticated metropolis! Be prepared for a real rat race,
as you will compete with the other teams.
Good luck and have a lot of fun!
