How many cities can you name in France?

Our high school has graciously given you the opportunity to live in France for the next semester. You will be traveling in groups to a city in France assigned by me. For the duration of your stay, your group must find out as much about the city as you can. When you return from your stay, we will be giving a presentation to the other Foreign Language classes in the school. Each of the cities I have included has its own unique significance to the country. It is up to you to show us why your city is extraordinary!

Generally you should be able to answer:

What is the city well-known for ?
Why do people visit there ?
What is the most appealing aspects of the city ?
Where in France is the city located ?
Does the city have a significant history or past ?
Any interesting cultural aspect of the city ?

Goals:

Be able to identify different cities in France.
Create a Power Point depicting a city.
Understand a city well enough to find an item that represents that city.
Use Google Earth to view the city.
Inform other Foreign Language classes about cities in France.
