Cardiac Rhythm Implantable Device Training

Introduction

20140707104246ePyda.jpg

The learning process for becoming a cardiac device nurse is a long and often stressful one.  Because of the amount of new information and the potential for risk to patients, nurses need access to training that presents the content, gives opportunity for review, and the opportunity to practice new skills on a simulator.  This course is designed to allow online self-study of training presentations and graphics, assessments throughout the course of study, and finally, a structured simulation session for applying the knowledge from the course.  I encourage you to explore, but also to keep a running list of questions which can be covered in our forum here.  The answers may benefit other students as well as you.  The content on this site leans heavily on the content on www.medtronicconnect.com Core series for pacemakers and defibrillators.
