The purpose of this WebQuest is for children to
focus on learning their short and long vowel sounds. The students will use the
different websites provided to practice and gain better knowledge in a fun and
exciting way. There are a lot of fun activities to do to help the children with
understanding there short and long vowel sounds. Parents and teachers are
encouraged to assist their students on these websites to help them become great
readers. This is designed to assist children from the grades kindergarten to
second grade level.
