Construct and Design a Shipping Package

At the conclusion of this webquest, you should have a better understanding of who Pythagoras was and why the theorem is named after him rather than anyone prior to him. 

You should know that they Pythagorean Theorem ONLY WORKS for RIGHT TRIANGLES. 

You should be able to write the formula TWO different ways and fill the formula in CORRECTLY.  You should be able to solve for the HYPOTENUSE or LEG if you are given the other 2 sides' lengths of any right triangle.

You may want to take a look at some Pythagorean Triples.  For extra credit, write a short paragraph explaining what Pythagorean Triples are and include 10 triples (with the proof that they are, in fact triples).  

OR look in to Special Right Triangles.  For extra credit, write a short paragraph explaining what the 2 types of "Special Right Triangles" are.  Be sure to include the angle relations AND how the lengths of the sides of these triangles are similar.
