COMPUTER CRIMES

Micky lost his job and decided to make a living from selling CDs and DVDs.  However, his way of carrying out this new job is by purchasing a single licensed copy of each game and each software he wishes to sell, then burn multiple copies of each and sell them or load them unto other person's machines.  Micky enjoyed this job as he was his own boss, futhermore he saw nothing wrong with what his new job encompasses.

A.  After reading the above scenario, students should:

i)  Identify the crime evident in the scenario.

ii)  Discuss the implications of the crime.

iii) Identify methods of preventing this crime.

B.  Name three (3) other computer crimes and state possible measures for preventing each.
