COMPUTER CRIMES

Individuals and businesses have been plagued with many issues surrounding computer crimes since the advancement of the Internet.  People affected by  computer crimes have suffered from loss or breach of confidential information, financial loss, fraud, cyber terrorism and even identity theft.  The relentless acts of computer crimes often go undetected by victims mainly because there are no precise reliable statistics on the number of computer crimes and the exact economic loss of the victims.  Most persons committing these crimes consider them misdemeanours and are oblivious to the severity of its effect.

Therefore this exercise seeks to sensitise students on the effects of computer crimes and preventative measures.
