The French Revolution

This WebQuest was designed for high school students in a global history class. It meets New York State standard 2-- World History. The lesson on the French Revolution should fall into a larger unit of political revolutions. In this case, the French Revolution was preceeded by a lesson on the American Revolution, and will be followed by lessons on Latin American revolutions.

I recommend that students have at least a general undersanding of what took place during the French Revolution before beginning this WebQuest. Otherwise students may spend too much time trying to figure out this complex set of events, people, and governements instead of applying the information to their chosen estate.
