Dear Development Team:

The Traveler's Educational Destinations (TED) Board of Directors has decided that our web presence is lacking a certain personal element and that our destination offerings are out-dated and in need of revitalization. As one of five TED development teams, you are being presented with a unique challenge. You will be developing a new educational vacation by traveling and documenting your travel experience. TED will be providing each team with $15,000 on a pre-paid company credit card. Any purchases not directly related to the work project will be evaluated; company reimbursement may be required.

The TED marketing team will use the materials you create for a new advertising campaign. The five development teams will be competing to be featured in an upcoming advertising campaign. The chosen development team will also receive a generous bonus at the fiscal year-end evaluations.

The TED marketing team has requested that each development team prepare the following items:

1. A Map of Trip
2. A Personal, Daily Journal Documenting Your Journey
3. A Costs Spreadsheet with Charts
4. A Final Presentation

The final presentations will be given at corporate headquarters inIndianapolis on June 14^th.  The Board Members and I are looking forward to your presentation and the new direction you are helping our company take.
