A Tour of Europe's Gothic Cathedrals

Now that you have toured the great christian cathedrals of the late medieval period on your pilgrimmage, you should now be familiar with gothic architecture.  Each of the links took you to a particular gothic cathedral that described its history, characteristics, and essential elements of gothich architecture.  With the activities, you defined essential terms needed to understand the interior and exterior structure, and then labled those terms in multiple forms.  After completing the brief quiz, you were also able to review all material covered from the links and activities.  After all your activities, you should now have the knowledge necessary to return to your local community to build their first gothic cathedral.  Incorporate as many elements as possible to help your town create a church with its own unique style and who knows...maybe we'll add your gothic cathedral to our next webquest list!
