Description:
In the United States, an estimate of 13.3% of people lived in poverty in 2006. This is a major social problem in the United States. Students will become advocates for those who live in poverty, using their research to educate and inform others. During their research students will interpret various statistical charts. They will be asked to solve problems involving percentages.
