Welcome: Immigration: A Journey to America
Description: The task of the WebQuest requires students to research a specific topic related to immigration and then apply their findings in an authentic way. Students will travel back in time to experience the life of an immigrant family traveling to the United States in the early 1900s. Students will also research current pieces of immigration legislation in the U.S., becoming reporters and social scientists as they investigate, write, and report their findings in the form of a persuasive letter to a U.S. Congressman.
