Description: In this webquest, you will examine the murder trial of the parents of Lizzie Borden, the evidence presented in the trial, and the people involved in this event. After reading and performing the play, "Murder on Second Street", you will be assigned to either defend or argue against Lizzie Borden's case. After researching, analyzing, and debating the circumstances surrounding this event, you will present your closing argument to a jury who is unfamiliar with the case and they will determine Lizzie's fate.
