Brief Description:



Strawbridge News is in need of
interviews from famous people. Our class will complete research on famous
people and develop interviews that can be used on Strawbridge News.



Goal:



Students will investigate selected
famous people and answer questions about them to create an interview.

Project Outline
and Activities:



Students will
complete research in and out of the classroom working collaboratively to find
the required information. Students will use Internet, and books from the
library to gather required research. Students will then answer interview
questions about their famous person in complete sentences. Students will then
be paired together to practice asking and answering questions in an interview
format. When both partners feel ready, they will use a flip camera to record
the interview.



Assessment:



The students will
receive a grade for their completed answers and a grade for the interview.  



Plans for
Differentiation:



Modified research
page or graphic organizer for lower learners to complete, while high learners
will be able to complete notes on their own.
