This web-quest on bullying was created by Patchogue-Medford High School English teacher, Christy Reinert, to be used as an introductory or pre-reading activity for Laurie Halse Anderson's novel, SPEAK.
Bullying is one of the more prominent themes in the novel SPEAK, by Laurie Halse Anderson. In this Web Quest students will explore websites, complete worksheets, watch video clips, read poetry and listen to music all having to do with bullying. Much of the information they acquire on this quest will assist them in the culminating activity - a New York State English Regents Task 3 style essay.
