The webquest is designed for students in grades 9-12 studying Shakespeare. It can certainly be adapted to fit the needs of targeted learners, making accommodations for the gifted as well as those challenged academically. It can also be adapted for particular works of Shakespeare. The webquest can be developed individually or as a group project. Several course of study standards can be addressed through the development of the webquest including reading for information, analyzing British literature, identifying specific elements in literature, using research, and using technology for communication purposes.
