Newtons Three Laws of Motion

Focus:

This WebQuest basically focuses on Newton's three Laws of Motion including information about Sir Isaac Newton. The objective of this WebQuest is to help students learn about the Three Laws of Motion and how they work in everyday life.

 

Objectives/Goals:

I would recommend starting this project after you have introduced and started your regular unit on motion. This way, the students will have some background knowledge and they should be able to take this project further than without any previous knowledge. They will also have a better vocabulary when conducting their demonstrations in front of the class and teacher.

 

1. Students will learn about the Three Laws of Motion.
2. Students will discover an understanding of motion through websites and demonstrations.
3. Students will come to understand that motion is all around us and will always be around us. 
4. Students will have fun with science and work with a partner.
