Habitats

Focus: 

This WebQuest focuses on the third grade teaching standard about habitats.

 

 

Objectives/Goals:

I would recommend starting this WeQuest after you have introduced the names of the different habitats around the world.

 Students will learn about different plants and animals that live in each of the habitats.

Students will learn where each of the different habitats are located.

Students will learn about the climate of each of the habitats.

 

 

Resources:

Prerequisite Skills:  Students will be comfortable with researching information in books and on the Internet.

Time Required:  4 days- 3 days to do their research and design their poster and 1 day to present each of the posters.

Technology Needs/Materials Needed:

Computers and books to research the habitats, white construction paper to create their poster, crayons and markers to make their poster look nice
