Amazing People

This WebQuest was created for Moscow school №1558 as an educational requirement. (Student's book by O.V. Afanasieva and I.V. Mikheeva). It has been designed with grade 7 in mind. Standards touched upon are varied because many research options are available for students. Standards that are met in the core layout of the WebQuest are: Life Skills, Language Arts.

The main goal of this WebQuest is for students to improve their language and computers skill and, at the same time, have fun. The students are encouraged to work both as a group and independently supporting a rich team environment.

This WebQuest is designed for easy comprehension so that students can enjoy this learning experience. The first step to a positive learning experience in the classroom is making sure that the students know what they are supposed to do. 

Introduce the WebQuest. Show the navigation. Explain the meaning of each page in the WebQuest. Divide your class into groups of three or four depending on the size of your class. Let them choose which person they will collect the information about.
