It's All Happening at the Zoo

This is my second webquest on Zunal. Integrating science with language arts skills ignites their enthusiasm especially when the computer is used. This webquest will be completed independently by each of my third graders. The time frame to begin is end of April, beginning of May. I play the part of Zelda, the zoo director. Often I dress the part by wearing a special hat that would match my job. The first quest my class did was in a partnership and they exhibited their competence. This time they are on their own to "strut their stuff". They have a lot to be proud of because they have integrated much learning.

 

The main focus was the NYS Science curriculum for third grade, coupled with ELA, Science, and Technology Standards.
