Earth Day Webquest 2011

Task 1- Visit the website below titled Eco Crazy.  Read about the seven different strange ways to help the earth.  Pick you favorite two and explain why you think they will work.  Then, pick one you do not think will work and explain why.

Task 2- Go to the link titled DFW Earth Day and find the event that occurs Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 5:30 p.m.– 7:30 p.m.

Task 3-Visit the link titled Reduce,Reuse, and Recycle to learn about the three R's-Reduce,Reuse, and Recycle. Write the defenition of each while submiting your asignment. 

Task 4- Visit Recycle Roundup.  Play the game.  List Three items that: can be recycled, cannot be recycled, can be composted.

Task 5- Visit Future Friendly.  There, you will find options to read and learn about Saving Water, Saving Energy and Reducing Waste.  Pick on of the three to learn more about.  After reading, write a short paragraph explaining what you learned.

Task 6- Visit Billion Acts of Green.  Read the "Recent Acts of Green".  Think about a pledge you are WILLING to make and commit to.  Write that pledge in your science journal and then submit an act of green.
