A Viking Journey

As you prepare for your incredible journey back in time you have to make a few preparations. First, you need to locate 3 classmates and form a group of 4 time journey explorers.
Second, since you will most likely encounter some doubters about your journey, you need to make sure you document everything you see. Therefore, don't forget to pack your journal, pencils, markers and your resource book: The Vikings by Rosemary Rees. You will be asked to make journal entries, plot maps, draw pictures and create timelines along the way.
Your task is to learn as much as possible about many aspects of the lives of the Vikings. Upon your return (if you are lucky enough to make it back that is), you and your group members will meet for a press-conference to present your findings, and discuss 2 out of 8 assigned research topics, in order to convince your audience that you indeed just returned from Europe, year 700-1100.
