Tasks

1) You will learn how to write a newspaper article. You will use this information within your groups to write your own newspaper article about plate tectonic movement and earthquakes.
2) You will watch a video about earthquake basics. You can use the information in the video as research for your newspaper article.
3) You will complete an activity that shows how the tectonic plates move, by moving the arrows along the plate boundaries. This too can be used as research for your article.
4) You will watch an animation that shows how waves from an earthquake are felt in different places on earth.
5) You will then write your newspaper article using the research you have gained from the previous activities.
6) You will complete a quiz about basic plate tectonic terminology. The completion of the quiz will reveal a picture about plate tectonics.
