Biographies of the Poets
Task
Does art imitate life? Or does life imitate art?
For this project, you will partner with a classmate to create a short essay that will make the connection between life and art.
You will research multiple sources and analyze both the works of your poet and the events of his or her life to try to find connections between the two.
In the end you will produce an essay and a list of works cited that will be judged by Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Warren. We are looking for the essay that best makes the connection between life and art.
