Time To Travel

      This WebQuest had been created for students who are second langauge learners in Year 9 or 10 level. The task is straight forward and if students follow the step-by-step procedures in the process stage they shouldn't have to may difficulties and there are many templates and tutorials to assist them. Students will be partnered up so there is collaborative work as well as individual work that is required to be done.

      Students will practice and develop their technological and internet skills by browsing and researching appropriate material. At the same time they will learn about other countries, attractions, foods, culture and societies which are very important concepts and ideas for students to attain in this globally interconnected world. Students will also have to come up with an itinerary for their holiday and design a poster that they have created in a paint program. They will then present their holiday destination to the class and their peers will vote on the preferred holiday destination.

      Throughout this task students will be practising their English speaking skills, improving their reading and writing skills and develop their presentation skills.
