A Day in the Life of a Colonial Kid

These are the steps you will follow to complete your glog:

1.  Brainstorm with your partner about facts you know based on our previous work.

2.  Use the links provided to start your additional research.  Be sure to take notes on what you find, as well as note your resources for your bibliography.

3.  Write the rough draft of your paragraphs using the information you have gathered. 

4.  Revise and edit your paragraphs.  Re-write and ask another team to peer edit for you.  (Be willing to peer edit for other teams!!)  Save your writing as a Word document on your thumb drive.  You will turn this in with your bibliography.

5.  Choose pictures/clip-art for your glog.  Make sure they are related to what your have written.

6.  Log-in and start you glog.  This link is on the resource page.

7.  Build your glog, including your writing.  Be sure to save it!!

8.  Create your bibliography as a Word document.  Include all your sources.

9.  Print your paragraphs and bibliography and turn into the dreaded red bin.
