Energy Fun!

• The first thing you will need to do is log onto http://www.eia.doe.gov/kids/classactivities/teachers&students.html, scroll down and click on the "Home Energy Survey" (near the bottom of the page). Complete the survey and write down your answers to the questions. You will need to put your answers into a Word document and attach them to the email. You do not need to write the questions, just the answers.

• Next, you will need to go to http://www.brainpop.com/science/energy/kineticenergy/ and click on the link to watch the kinetic energy movie (make sure your sound is turned on, and it helps to watch it in the full screen version). After watching the movie, click the back button at the top left hand corner of the screen to go back to the home page. Click on the pencil icon to take the pop quiz. Select the graded version. When you are done with the quiz, select the email button (if you choose to view your grades, it will not allow you to email your score, so choose wisely). Email your grades to whitneycarruthers@tx.rr.com. Good luck and enjoy the movie!
