Process
A very exciting Webquest has been prepared just for you. To enjoy this Webquest all you have to do is follow the steps that are outlined below and they will take educational yet entertaining locations. Are you ready to have fun while you learn Spanish? Indeed! Well, lets go.
Step 1
How would you have a conversation in a store in a Spanish-speaking country? Well, lets find out. Just click on the Microsoft Word Document that is attached in the resource pane. When the file is opened, read the dialogue that takes place between two friends and a store clerk. This has created a very realistic context for you. Have fun as you try to sound as native-like as possible.
Step 2
Are you unsure about the English equivalent for some the words and expressions in met in the dialogue? No need to worry. Just use your dictionary and/or the vocabulary list at the end of the dialogue to assist with the comprehension of it. Feel free to make notes where necessary.
Step 3
You have been doing well. And it gets better. A nice game has been uploaded for you. In this game you will learn the Spanish names for some articles and accessories. So click on the attached PowerPoint document to have fun while you learn these words. Run the slide then start your game as you carry out the given commands.
Step 4
Wasn't that exciting? Good! Now, get into your groups and read throug the dialogue again with each group member. This is your script for staring that Holywood film as you take on take on the the roles of the characters in the dialogue. To get everyone involved, the fourth person will be the stage director.
Step 5
Now, it is your time to become writers, actors and actresses. The next step is for you to to work with your team members to prepare a the store scene that has been assigned to your group. Remember that it should be realistic and just as fun as when you go shopping with your friends.
