Step 1: Explore Many Spanish-Speaking Countries

      As a group, you will explore several Spanish-speaking countries. Visit the Don Quijote website and explore at least 3 different countries. 

 

 

 

Step 2: Choose Your Role

 

 

*Fact Finder

      You will find several historical or cultural facts about your given country. You will need to answer the following questions in your research:

          1.) Where is your country located?

          2.) What does your country's flag look like?

          3.) What is your country's capital?

          4.) What do people eat in your country?

          5.) What do people do for fun in your country?

          6.) List at least ONE cultural fact and ONE historical fact that you find interesting.

     You may use any of the following websites to help with your research:

*Travel Agent

     You will be visiting the capital city of your country. You will find out how to get to your country and how much it will cost. You will determine how long you will stay and when you are going to visit the country. You will need to answer the following questions in your research:

          1.) When will you be leaving for your trip? (When is the best time to visit your country?)

          2.) How long will you stay?

          3.) How will you get to your country?

          4.) How much will it cost to get to your country?

          5.) How much will it cost to have one hotel room for your visit?

          6.) What is the total cost of your trip without food, etc? (Cost of Flight + Cost of Hotel)

*Event Coordinator

     You will be researching what to do in your country. Are there museums to visit? Are there historical sites to see? Are there other fun activities to do? You will need to answer the following questions in your research:

          1.) Name the regions of your country.

          2.) Choose three of the regions and give at least two activities to do in each region.

          3.) Use the Frommer's website and click on your country, then click on Frommer's favorite experiences. Choose two of their favorites that you would like to experience and describe them.

Step 3: Create Your Project

     You will work together with your group-mates to create a project to display your findings. You may organize your project in any way that you'd like, but be sure to include details to help your reader understand.

     Suggestions:

      - Poster

      - PowerPoint

      - Video

      - Song

      - Skit

 

 

Step 4

     You will now evaluate yourself and your team-mates. Fill out one rubric for each member in your group. You will write the name of the student being evaluated on the "Name" line of the rubric. These evaluations are confidential.
