    1. Find 3 pictures of random individuals from magazines to use as the 3 murder victims.  Make sure to choose interesting and detailed pictures so as to have lots to describe in your Spanish descriptions of these individuals. 

    2. Choose 3 countries of the world where Spanish is one of the official languages (countries you just studied in the geography lesson) to use as the countries where you will travel to in your project.

    3. Using the Bravo I text, school library, and/or the school online databases, provide a detailed and accurate map of each of the 3 countries and highlight the cities that you will be visiting when speaking with the victims’ families. 

    4. Using books from the school library and/or the school online databases, research the climate of your 3 chosen Spanish speaking countries in order to know how to properly pack for your trips.  Based on your knowledge of clothing words in Spanish, you will have to tell your classmates how you plan to dress and what clothes you will pack for your 3 trips, based on the climate in these Spanish-speaking countries.

    5. Using books from the school library and/or the school online databases, research what currency is used in the 3 countries you have chosen and the exchange rate from US dollars to these currencies.  You will be given $1,000 US dollars to spend per trip.  Calculate how much money you will have in each of these countries.  (e.g. If you are traveling to Argentina, $1 US dollar = $3.5 Argentine pesos.  Therefore, you will have $3,500 pesos to spend in Argentina.) 

    6. Write a paragraph of 4 quality sentences (8 sentences for Spanish I Honors students) in Spanish per victim describing their physical appearance by using the vocabulary list from Unit 2 Lesson 1 and the verbs SER and TENER (Use your magazine pictures you have chosen to do this). 

    7. Create a Power Point presentation of 10 slides to use during your presentation to the class.  Slide 1 should be a title slide with your name, date, course, and title of your project.  Slides 2-4 should include maps of your 3 chosen countries and a detailed description of their climates throughout the year (1 slide per country).  Slide 5 should include 5 typical clothing articles (5 per country) that would be worn in these countries, according to the climate.  Slide 6 should include the currencies of these 3 countries and the current exchange rates from US dollars.  Slides 7-9 should include your Spanish descriptions of the 3 victims (1 slide per victim).  Slide 10 will be your Works Cited with all resources used during the project.  

    8. When it is time to present, show your classmates pictures (attached to your powerpoint presentation) of all 3 victims to all of your classmates.

    9. Read the descriptions aloud, and your classmates (who will be playing the roles of possible family members of the 3 murder victims) must determine if their family member matches the murder victim you are describing. 

    10. Turn in a copy of your Power Point presentation to Srta. Selsor.
