    FIRST-TAKE THE FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE PRE-TEST. This will help determine what areas of figurative language you need to focus on.

    THIS TASK CONSISTS OF TWO PARTS:


    Part 1: Individually complete the Figurative Language Packet. (SEE LINK BELOW TO PRINT PACKET)
      You will be completing:
        • definition
        • examples
        • looking at figurative language in poetry, games and/or videos
        • demonstrating understand by taking a quiz or completing a handout
                Part Two: Group project (Between 3-4 people)
                  Your PowerPoint needs to have:
                    • a creative title slide
                    • a slide for each type of figurative language which includes the definition, an example, and a photo/illustration to match (x7) plus the definition of figurative language. 
                    • citation slide
                    • group members names on a slide
                    • transitions between slides evident
                    • links to videos to teach concepts are evident
                    • each team member is responsible for 2 slides.
