My Digital Travel Journal of my visit to a Spanish Speaking Country

Gathering Information:

1. Get into your assigned groups to discuss the city and country that you would like to research for your travel journal.

2. Find information  about your Spanish speaking city and country using the websites provided. (You may use other websites as well, but all must be pre-approved by Ms. Faherty.)

3. Once you have gotten to know your country through priliminary research you may begin your work on your travel journal. To begin you should choose at least 5 places that you visited on your trip. These places must be places of interest in your city. (Ex. museums, gallerys, parks, tourist attractions) Be able to tell/explain the significance of the places as well as provide pictures for each.

4. Once you have chosen the places that you visited, I want you to think about the hotel that you stayed in and restaurants that you ate at. This information will also be included in your travel journal. Remember that you must include real restaurants and hotels/hostals from your country as this is based on your "travels."

5. Once you have gathered your information you are ready to begin your power point presentation of your digital travel journal.

The Power Point Presentation:

        Now you are ready to begin your digital power point presentation. First you and the members of your group are to decide on the slides that you will be working on. (Ex. one member might be in charge of hotel, another of the museum that you went to.)

Each member will work on slides including:

     A) at least 3 sentences about the places that you went to in the past tense

     B) at least one picture of the place

     C) slide title describing the place.

Remember to include at least one slide for each place discussed as well as a title page. (You should have no less then 8 slides in your presentation.)
