Process
Lets get started! Your hurricane journal will be the place where you record what you learn about hurricanes during this web quest. You will be able to use it to help you write your public announcement.

(1) Begin by exploring what a hurricane is. Complete part I of your hurricane journal as you explore these pages:

(2) Now let's find out what makes a hurricane! How do these powerful forces of nature come to be? Be sure to complete part II of your Hurricane journal.

(3) Now that you know how hurricanes are made, you can try to make one of your own! Follow the directions in part III of your journal and Go to:
