An Introduction to Puritan Society: A Web Quest

1. You may choose to work with one other person.

2. Take Cornell Notes in a Word Document. Save it as Puritan Cornell Notes. 

3. Read and Annotate �Huswifery� byEdward Taylor and  �Upon the Burning of Our House� by Anne Bradstreet.This should also be done in Word.

4. Write an essay that Compares and Contrasts the two poems, or you may write a play that demonstrates what you have learned about the Puritan Society  and how it is different from modern society.

5. Create a PowerPoint that accurately portrays Puritan Society and how it is different than the life you experienced in modern day. The PowerPoint should also analyze the effect that religion had on writing.

6. Present your PowerPoint to the class.
