The long e sound with letter combinations "ea" and "ee"

1.       Students will go to the first internet site, poem using the �ea� letter combination.

2.       Students will go to the second internet site, poem using the �ee� letter combination.

3.       Students will go to the third internet site, drag and drop game with words that have the �ea� and �ee� letter combinations.

4.       Students will watch a Youtube video about the long e sound. 

5.       Students will download the phonics poster for the �ea� letter combination.

6.       Students will download the phonics poster for the �ee� letter combination. 

7.       Print off both phonics posters.

8.       Use the phonics posters and information about the �ea� and �ee� letter combinations to create a story using words with these combinations.

1.       Look at the phonics poster and pick out some words you want to use.

2.       Brainstorm ideas for your story.

3.       Write the first sentence of you story.

4.       Write the second sentence of your story.

5.       Write the third sentence of your story.

6.       Add pictures to go with each sentence.

7.       Take turns reading your story to your partner(s).
