As you explore the documents and web sites, complete the graphic organizer with the information you find. Bring this to class when we meet again and be prepared to discuss what you have learned about CCSS. Be prepared to discuss the following:

  1. How the information is structured: What are the different levels of specificity
  2. Get a general idea of what the learning targets look like as students progress through the grade levels. Ex. Math, K- knowledge of place value 11-19, 4th grade- whole number place value to 1,000,000.
  3. Select a grade level and subject of interest to you and discuss a few examples of what students would be required to do. Ex: Kindergarten Math, be able to count to 100 by ones and tens
