Telling Time Review

Activities to Complete
  1. Before you start playing, review the Power Point (Telling Time to the Hour and Half Hour) below. This will remind you information we have learned about hour and minute hands and telling time to the hour and half hour.
  2. Practice the skills you already possess with a quick review here. After you have completed this activity, click the X in the corner.
  3. Open your "Telling Time Web Quest Journal" and complete page 2. You must write, illustrate (with coloring) and write the time correctly. 
  4. Next, go here. Read as much as you can without help and then raise your hand for confusing words. After you read this page about analog clocks,  complete page 3 in your "Telling Time Web Quest Journal". Remember to use a blue crayon for the hour hand and a red crayon for the minute hand. (Don't forget to click the X in the corner of the analog clock page).
  5. Please visit the web page that includes information on using AM and PM. Click here to read and find out some interesting information, you may place an X on this page when your finished. Pages 4 and 5 from your "Telling Time Web Quest Journal" will be completed in small groups in our classroom. 
  6. Time to play some games!! Game 1 and Game 2 are fun review. Game 3 and Game 4 are a little different and still fun! 
  7. After play time complete page 6 in your "Telling Time Web Quest Journal". Hint: Half past the hour means the big hand is on the 6!!
  8. Before you complete page 7 in your journal, check out this page: Click here! This page lets you change the a.m. and p.m. of the clock when you change the time. You can check the times from page 7 in your journal to see what picture to match them to. Complete page 7 when your done.
  9. Check out the 2 videos from You Tube below. After watching, complete page 8 in your journal! Pay close attention to the video, it will help you complete page 8.
  10. Your almost done, take this last quiz. When your finished, raise your hand and your teacher will come and print the page for you.

You're done! Great Job! You have now mastered the concept of time!
