Process

1.) In order to understand what the 5 themes are in-depth, visit the website below. Then, complete the chart by listing the 5 themes,  and giving a short definition and at least 1 example for each definition. (Note some of the themes will have more than 1 definition.)

2.) Using what you now know about the 5 themes of Geography, research 3 Asian countries & 2 countries  of Oceania. Make sure to take detailed notes about your "journeys". For example, how do the people interact with their environment? What are the RELATIVE and ABSOLUTE locations? What are the people of that country like? What is the physical landscape? What types of movement are available? If large amounts of people were to move, what would happen? What types of things does this country share with the rest of the continent?

3.) After getting all of the information you need, create a blog on WordPress.com. Click on "Get Started Here." Complete the fields. After creating your profile, activate your account by using your email. You are now ready to start using your dashboard. The dashboard is where you can create everything you need. Title your first blog, "Class Project". Then explain to your readers that you have created this blog as a requirement of your Geography class. Make sure to tell them that your journeys are not real, so that your readers will not be tricked.

4) After setting up your blog, write about your trip to your first country using the information you obtained from your research. Be creative in your writing. (i.e. Write in such a way that you sound like an actual visitor to that country. DON'T JUST WRITE A LIST OF THINGS.)

5.) Continue creating your blog so that you have explained your "trips" to all 5 countries.

6.) Upload anything that you have found or created to your blog to make your trips more interesting and colorful. (If you use anything that you did not create, make sure you properly cite those in your blog. REMEMBER ANYONE CAN SEE THIS BLOG, SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT PLAGIARIZING THEM.)
