Discovering the Renaissance
The Renaissance was a time of great advances and exploration in art. Don't forget to investigate the print materials (fancy name for books!) as well. While you read about these artists and look at their creations, think about the following:
- Where and when did this scientist/inventor live?
- What is this scientist/inventor's most important discovery?
- Why is their discovery still important today?
If you are interested in a scientist, inventor or invention that you do not see here, please ask Mrs. Cushing. We could not list them all and the library has lots of biographies!
