American Revolution

This lesson covers George Washington's crossing of the Delaware with the Continental Army. Using our class room, canoe's, small boats, rubber rafts, or what ever you deem appropriate to demonstrate crossing water, you and your class mates are going to simulate crossing the Delaware. As you undertake this task, each student in turn, will recite from memory, a single sentence of a from a class collaborated short, one page paper, that answers the questions in the "TASK" portion of this document. Originality will be noticed and the more elaborate the crossing, the more extra credit points will be rewarded to the class. Good luck with your crossing.
