The Physical States of Matter.

Imagine that you and your friends have a chance to make $1,000,000's of dollars!!!  All you have to do is think of a way to bring fresh water from the South Pole to the west coast of Africa. With all the money your team can make, you could spend the rest of your life sunning on the beach or napping quietly in the shade of a palm tree on an island in the Caribbean............

As you work on finding a solution to this challenge keep in mind the following questions:

What is the real nature of matter?  What are the different physical states in which matter can exist?  How are the characteristics of one physical state different from another?  Why does temperature affect the physical state of matter?  Why do some forms of matter transform differently than other forms.  What is the most common form of matter in the universe? How does understanding the nature of matter assist you in finding a solution to your goal of transporting water?
