Systems of the Human Body

Today we are going to learn how the body's smallest and largest parts work together.  Let's braintorm what we know about the human body.  (List these on the boards and have students write them in their science journal.)  Ask students to predict the meaning of the following concepts: body system, neuron, and immune system.   Guide students to examine the picture in their textbooks on pag 138-139 that illustrates each vocabulary term.
