Food Chains

You have almost completed your safari through the food chain plains. It's time for your personal

challenge. Individually each of your group members will createhis/her own food web using the

internet tool below. View the organisms provided and start building a web of food chains using the

organisms and arrows provided. Be sure to include at least 4 producers, 4 primary consumers, and 4

secondary consumers. Be sure to start your web with the sun and connect all your links with arrows

to show the flow of energy in the web. When you've finished your web print it.

Follow the writing process to create a paragraph the describes each piece of your food web. Be sure

to include a focused topic sentence, and a strong concluding sentence. Include 3 facts for each of the

following groups: producers, consumers, and decomposers. Use the group field notes to guide your

writing.
