The view that we influence the world is not always right. The world also influences us, due to the environment, locations, place, movement, and interaction. We are not always aware of it, but we should be, in order to understand how our lives are shaped. The most important question is, how we can act in accordance with the environment instead of ruling over it?
History - Part 2
As we learned, immigration affects us and other people tremendously. Historical events thus do not only concern the countries and people that are directly affected, but also have an influence on other countries and people. This is why we should study history and learn how individual decisions and events have shaped our present-day lives.
Economics (Microeconomics) - Part 3
Why should we care about economics? As we could see, every person who spends money is important to the economy. The economy is not only influenced by us individuals, it impacts us, too. When a new product is available, everybody runs to the store to purchase it, even though the price is high. When it is not new anymore, it becomes boring and the price goes down, while new, more expensive and interesting products are presented. The economy is therefore an important part of our lives, which is important to know to make economically thoughtful decisions.
