Welcome: Schizophrenia and Psychosis
Description: Schizophrenia usually has its onset between the ages of 15 and 25 and can cause serious disruption in the life of not only the individual who develops the disease, but also the individual's family. This training will help the clinician learn the signs of schizophrenia and some tools for use when working with someone who experiences hallucinations or delusions (psychosis). >>>>>>>>>(Please make sure you have opened, downloaded, or printed the Participant Guide in the Attachment Section on this page. In order to obtain your CEUs, you will be required to complete a test when you return to Stars University and complete a course evaluation. You will have to obtain 80% or better on the test. Taking notes on the handout can make this process go more smoothly.) >>>>>>>>>>> Use the menu on the left of the page to move through the sections. Please move forward to the Introduction section. Have fun!
